The May edition of Bodo's Power Systems is once again graced by a Cover Story from CONCEPT – in good time for this year’s PCIM Europe.

The article presents a new generation of SCALE-2 Plug-and-Play drivers for IGBTs from 1200 to 6500V.

These drivers contain numerous new features in addition to all those already tried and tested in the first SCALE generation. 

An outstanding example is direct paralleling, a solution already introduced on the market for the simple and reliable parallel connection of various IGBT modules. The new 1SP0335 and 1SP0635 product series now bring the benefits of direct paralleling to all voltage classes, and at extremely attractive component costs.
